Thoughts on this 16700?
Hi all! Just wondering your thoughts on this 16700. Service or aftermarket crystal/cyclops? I appreciate your inputs.

There are some really obvious aftermarket crystals with magnification issues, incorrect beveling, etc. but prior to the era of the laser-etched coronets, it can be very difficult to seperate a high quality aftermarket crystal from authentic. By the way, there is a chip at 5 o'clock.

Looks like a service insert, so possibly a service crystal as well. The cyclops magnification can sometimes look a bit off in photos (even on genuine crystals), as it is affected by the camera lens/zoom, and distance.

The cyclops is typical of the thicker movement GMT watches.

Definitely an eagle eye! I didn't catch that one! It looks like an original non-service dial to me, but I'll ask for a lume shot to determine whether it's true Tritium or not.
