Thoughts on Nomos Club 737?
I saw one in person and it looked really nice. I really like how this watch is clean and simple with a modern touch. I'm considering the 737 which has a California dial and a sapphire back. The only luxury watch I own is a Rolex DJII (116334) with a blue dial. I'm looking to add a casual daily watch and wear the DJII for events, parties, etc.
Does anyone have a Nomos Club on here? Would love to hear if you enjoy the watch. Thx! |

I also have my eyes on the Nomos Club. I think it would be an ideal everyday watch.

You can't go wrong buying a Nomos, imo! They make excellent, high-quality reasonably-priced watches and are very popular and easy to find here in Germany. I've long admired their clean, Bauhaus-inspired dials, but then I'm a Bauhaus fan. Last summer in my Rolex AD I fell "in love" with and immediately bought a Nomos Tangente manual wind, and now wear it in rotation with my Sub 14060. Both are completely different watches. But do look at their wide range of other watches before you pull the trigger! My watchmaker told me they sell a lot of Nomos watches. Here's mine:

I enjoy my Tangente. About 10 years old.

I like the 1000ft Club and Tangente versions.

I’ve been pretty negative on Nomos’ releases over the past two or three years (derivative and confusing design choices) but recently saw the Club Sport in the metal and it’s just great. They’re a fantastic company to deal with as well.

I bought my brother one for his HS graduation. Really cool watch... I hope he both wears it frequently and keeps it forever.

As OJones says above, dealing with Nomos (about anything) is incredible. They are the leaders in customer service from my experience. In respect of the watches, also, I adore Nomos. I have a Club, had an Autobahn, and will look to add the new Club Sport this year. I wish more Rolex owners would add a Nomos to their rotation!

You can't go wrong with Nomos.

Nomos is the only watch making company I have ever rung up. A few days after buying my Tangente I rang their Glashütte headquarters with a (silly) question. I got straight through to a human being, no run-around! The woman was most polite, friendly and very helpful. After answering my question she then asked how I was liking my new purchase. A most refreshing, pleasant experience... I wonder how it would be with other companies, like Rolex and Omega in Geneva...?

I’ve had my Club Auto Date about two years now and really like it. I don’t wear it nearly as much as I should, and every time I pick it up I ask myself why I don’t.
It’s so light and comfortable, really legible, and I bought a brown leather Nomos strap to dress it up a bit from time to time. While I’ve never formally measured it, timekeeping seems to be really good as well. Longest I’ve worn it was about 10 days straight on my vacation to Germany last summer (seemed appropriate) and I don’t recall ever comparing it to my phone or another source and thinking “wow it’s way off I need to reset it.” Short timeframe and not exactly scientific, but it’s the best I can do. Also had an excellent experience with their customer service, via email, clarifying something I read on their website. Very quick and pleasant response. |

I am a huge Nomos fan and own a Club Datum, but am not a fan of the California dial. It seems gimmicky to me but that’s simply my opinion.
Regardless of which one you select you will know that it’s a quality timepiece.
