It took me several years to find a good one. Consolidating my collection down dramatically; this is one of the very last of my coveted little lineup to go.




Info:

• This has to be one of the most rare modern models, from any maker. They rarely ever come up for sale.

• These photos -- which are, frankly, terrible -- don't come close to capturing this watch's beautiful and intricate dial.

• This one is in an honest 93-95% condition, cosmetically - It shows only minor signs of wear, and has no dents or deep scratches. On the wrist, and at arm's length, it essentially looks and feels new. It's in really great shape.

• The beautiful and warm domed Hesalite crystal shows some small signs of wear. These can be cleaned up very easily with a little PolyWatch.

• This example is a solid 99-100% mechanically, as it has just been serviced recently.

• (1) Brand new, totally unworn OEM Longines black leather strap (20/16 mm), with OEM Longines signed tang buckle.

• (1) Extra brand new (only test fit) OEM Longines black leather strap with double row stitching (also 20/16 mm).

• Also included is (1) brand new, unused 18 mm OEM Longines tang buckle (to be used with any 20/18 mm strap).

• Comes with box & manual, and servicing paperwork.

This watch -- AS ADVERTISED -- has a Hesalite / acrylic / plastic crystal. It will show some light signs of wear, but can easily be polished or buffed to like-new condition, likely with just PolyWatch. It does NOT have a sapphire crystal.

Experienced buyers will know, Hesalite is an type of acrylic (as used on the venerable Omega Moonwatch), and picks up small surface marks from normal wear. This watch had one small surface mark, at 6 o'clock. I just cleaned it up completely, in two minutes, with a little PolyWatch.

The watch is a solid 95%, in condition.



While I have curated and distilled my collection down to just a couple of "all-stars," I have certainly owned and sold dozens and dozens of watches here and elsewhere, over a decade or more.
