Daytona in Spain

I was in Spain visiting a shooting estate. One of the guys, a Brit, was sporting a Daytona on a leather Rolex strap.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a picture of one.

Up until the advent of the Oysterflex, there were gold Daytonas on leather straps for many years.

The leather strap had a metal clasp with a Rolex crown on it. That standard?

Daytonas on straps have been common for decades. They are only precious metal, so the clasps are expensive, and re-used when changing straps.
