WOW! Thinking of pulling the trigger? Now that I hear the next series 292 is going to be sans pig I think I'd be all over the piggy dial.

Keep us informed.
Very rare they have the 292 and it's not presold.
I wanted the 309 until I saw the pricetag.

You're absolutely right - with the exception of a black ceramic case, it isn't anything special, just over-hyped. And a non in-house movement!!! Nuts that it is selling way above list right now - but focus on RIGHT NOW.

Think back to when a greed crystal Milgauss was selling for $14k - catch my drift?

Yup, I think 292 is overprice. The special thing is only because they made with ceramic case.

I have tried on the 309. Absolutely STUNNING!!!!!!

The 292 is pure hype right now (kind of). Panerai is having difficulties manufacturing the case, much like Rolex with the GV crystal. This is a regular production watch if they can figure out what their problems are. The pig ones are probable more valuable however. I have a feeling after they are gone, they are gone. No more pigs. So overpriced..... maybe not.
