I’ve had good transactions with Tim at Fog City Vintage, and HQMilton in SF is a very highly regarded seller. Tim/FCV does not have a brick and mortar location (yet), but I‘m certain he’d meet you and bring a selection.

Both of these focus on vintage but do have some newer pieces, I’m sure either would be happy to have your business, and I believe you could buy with confidence from either one.

Idk if Jacek (recently of HQM) has begun doing business in The City on his own quite yet - He is another well-reputed seller in your area, and worth a try.
