Serial no

Hi,
I own a 2008 Rolex submariner 14060m
And I noticed that on the six o’clock side there is no serial number written just stainless steel!
P.s
Not 12 o’clock side it’s written Rolex Design and 14060m

Thx for the help

Are you talking about the rehaut or the case between the lugs?

If the rehaut is engraved there should be a serial number on the lower portion around 6. If the rehaut is bare there will be a serial number between the six o' clock lugs. There will not be both.

All Rolex serials on genuine watches are either between the watch lugs or on the rehaut bottom of the dial. And depending on the age of the watch some have serial only between lugs while others like some M serials have it on the rehaut and lugs. But there is no real 100% cut off time frame, now some V serials had rehaut only, but all G and randoms will have serial on rehaut only.

Between Lugs serial

Rehaut serial only on newer watches
