Question about 34mm Rolex

Hi everyone

Once again I turn to this community for advice. Do you guys think a 34mm Rolex is too small? I found a nice vintage one in pristine condition but never tried on that size.

My sweet spot is usually 36-38mm and I find my 40mm IWC and GMT Master II a tad too big (especially the latter because the case and lugs are flat). However, I did notice that my 40mm watches fit better with casual wear, while my 36-38mm watches go better with formal attire. I wear suits for work 4-5 days per week if that helps for your judgement.

I have a 17cm wrist (or 6.7 inches).

Wrist pics of Rolex Precision or Air Kings would be appreciated.

Many thanks again.

I’ve seen a few pics of a 36mm DJ be 34mm with no visible difference. However, I do believe with your size wrist a 36mm would look perfect. I’m actually looking for a 116234, I have the same wrist size as you

If the watch you found is a Rolex Date the engine-turned bezel will make it wear bigger--at least that's how it feels to me.

34MM is perfect imo, unless a watch is a diver or chrono I really see no need to go above 38 and find 34-36mm ideal. I wore my 6426 for years, and I never felt self concious. it's a personal choice, pick what moves you, nobody else is wearing the watch. there will always be a snob who doesn't like it and it will be others dream. if it speaks to you, listen.

I don’t think it’s too small.

Not everyone wears them, but it’s okay to be different!

No issues at all unless you have some sort of complex.

Very comfortable.
