100% for sure. I had two, love the watch off the wrist and in the end, stayed with the regular Sub. I tried really hard to make it work...such a cool watch in proportions other than thickness.

A rash does indeed qualify as a medical issue whether it be related to allergies or not. As does decaying flesh due to wearing a watch so tight that it doesn't move around enough to allow adequate air flow to the area where the Case back is clamped down onto the skin. We can also add nerve damage that causes numbness in the wrist area or for that matter anywhere in the hand. These are real issues that are actually documented and can potentially occur with any watch, but with an overly protruding Caseback they are more likely to happen with some individuals under some circumstances as reported on this very forum. Keep in mind the SD was always intended to be used as a tool for a particular purpose and not necessarily designed for everybody within the populace under all circumstances. For the record, I personally have issues with IWC pilot watch Casebacks and edges of Mid-case shapes which excludes them from my collection. It can happen |

The SD43 gets a lot of my wrist time. I do not feel it rests too high- 7.25” wrist.
Regarding allergies to metal, I am of the impression titanium is hypoallergenic. If the caseback is titanium, I would be surprised that someone would get a rash.... |

I do like the SD43 but if I had some suggestions, the 43 mm is fine for a diver, but increase the dial size it seems the same size, as a Sub, and increase the size of the hands, and then trim a couple of mm from the thickness. Maybe the next version.

Observation for all SD43 owners, “Baby got back!”
She's a lil thick for sure...I enjoyed mine for a while but ultimately was too much to handle over the long haul as a daily.
You know what they say...it's like a milkshake, too thick you can't suck it up the straw. |

Be sure to blot and not wipe or you'll get scratches. Great looking watch. They really nailed the proportions on the SD4K.
