Two Tone SubC or two tone DJ2.....
I have a SS SubC and ceramic GMT Master ii I’m going to part with for one of these and some cash. Really love them both (the two tones, both black dial). In today’s age I feel both can go dressy or t-shirt. I rarely wear a suit. Thoughts please great Rolex Forum? Thanks!

Do you want a sportier watch or one that is more of an all rounder? If I was only going to have one watch, it would be the TT black dial Sub. I did that for 18 years and it goes with everything dressed up or down.
Since your two current watches are in the sports line, it would seem that is what you prefer as well so it seems you have the answer to your own question.

If I had to sell, I would stay with the SS SubC. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Would keep my SS Sub and GMT. Then again, I am not a fan of TT, to me it feels like an in between. Have tried to love it many times over the past 30 years but ALWAYS ended up selling the TT for either a SS or PM.

Never ceases to amaze me how people just can't keep their unsolicited, off topic opinions to themselves. The OP DID NOT ask if YOU liked TT or not. He asked which would you chose between a TT Sub or TT DJ. If neither, why bother posting because you are not answering his question. Does stating you don't prefer a TT help the OP with his choice? NO. If the OP asked would you trade the SS models for a TT, that's a different situation. He didn't!

the tt sub is definitely for a sportier lifestyle although it can dress up occasionally. the dj would be the other way around I'd guess...

Whenever I see someone wearing a TT sub I unfairly assume they don't know their watches. I'm not a fan of TT subs or any sports models really. It seems like most purists feel the same.
I think the TT datejusts look great. They have a throwback, 80s wall street vibe that I love. Then again, its all subjective and what others think shouldn't matter. If it speaks to you, it speaks to you. |

Two Tones DJ, to me it's so classy so timeless.
