My feedback, as a non-owner, is that thing is an absolute beauty and I want one!!! Rolex does RG so well and the combo with that dial are sublime!!

My wife gave me this watch first...which is beautiful and I love the romans, but I always wanted the sticks with lume. I wear my watches 24x7 and also Jack’s original DD was with sticks (who wouldn’t want to be like Jack). So I returned it for the one above. Sometimes I wonder if I should’ve just kept it.

That was a great call. The stick dial is much nicer, hope your wife didn’t mind!

This is my grail! I consistently go to my AD and try it on. Hoping I’ll have the funds in 10 years for my 40th. Got the BLRO for my 30th this year so it’ll have to wait lol

I've had mine for a little over two years now and it feels pretty special every time I wear it. It has a great weight to it, a lovely warmth, and is a great size.

Nope, I think I want the white gold (PS- which is in the post). But the olive dial is 100%.
This is my favorite Rolex model, still honeymooning.

And since I go through watches like I go through T-Shirts, Ill likely get the white gold then back to rose

Hello all,

I have been an avid collector and have made my rounds with Rolex models (Subs, GMTs of all metals, DJ of all metals, Milgauss, DSSD, and the list goes on).

A few years ago the Datejust II and subsequently the DJ41 became my all time all around Rolex favorite... till I tried on a SkyDweller, which I had a few variations and metals as well.

last year I noticed the new Day Date collection but hav always been concerned with size (I like larger watches and have a few 44mm pieces) and know I cannot wear anything less than 40MM (which take me out of many Patek options).

When I first saw the olive dial I was in awe and the Rose drew me in as I have always been after that "one piece" that is my formal statement without being obnoxious and overbearing.

Yesterday arrived my Rose 228235 and here are some quick first impressions;

I was surprised by the weight. Heavy and I like it. Feels like you have something on your wrist.

Wrist proportion took me by surprise. This wears better than the Datejust 41.

The Olive dial is dynamic and can look blackish in certain low light but is a great combination vs the rose (and also the white gold as well!). I also love the 3D Romans, which adds a sense of style and modern touch.

A classic timeless style.

The President bracelet rivals the jubilee and the AP Royal Oak bracelet in terms of looks and comfort.

I am loving this and in 24 hours this may become my favorite Rolex timepiece ever.

Any feedback by President owner (and pics) would e great for the tread.

Il post pics when I figure this out)

Thx,

Roger

Congrats!!

Not white gold per se, but a white metal nonetheless
