Need Advice

I’ve given up waiting for AD to come through. Decided I’m going to pay a premium to get what I want. Spoke to an AD today (not one I’ve bought my 3 pieces from) and he told me if I don’t buy from an AD, and even though I receive the warranty card, without the original receipt Rolex will not perform warranty work. Is it true that I must have BOTH the warranty card and the original receipt. to get Rolex to honor warranty? And if that’s accurate how do you get a watch fixed if you purchase aftermarket? Please advise. Thanks

If you have a warranty card you should be fine. Receipt shouldn’t be necessary. Buy gray and save the wait and frustration of playing the AD games. What watch is it your wanting to purchase ? Also keep in mind a small percentage of Rolex actually have to go in for warranty work. Some people don’t even care about the warranty cards

Central Texas...between Austin, Houston and College Station.

Skydweller is the watch I’m looking for.

I've never heard of needing a receipt along with the warranty. You just need the warranty card. Love how the AD tells you they can't get you a watch but you can't buy grey either

Not true. Most RSC does not even ask for warranty card to accept the watch for service as long as the watch is genuine

Not true. I’ve sent in a watch with warranty card alone, no issues.

The warranty follows the watch - not the buyer.

Which AD gave you that advise, as it is not true? i know Rolex visits this forum and so they'd want to re-train that AD to provide correct information to their customers.

As others have said, warranty is tied to the watch... And the watch has a serial number.
What's the saying, a little bit of power...

Don’t tell Dougiebaby that you’re buying gray. He will kick you out of the club and you can’t get back in until April 15!

What a shame. Salespeople shouldn't lie, especially about things that are easily proven.
