I think constant use or no use at all would be technically better than setting and winding every single week through all the years.

Remember we correct the date on a watch 5 times a year (every month thats not 31 days)

Youre doing every single week. Thats 50 times a year. Ten times more than whats expected.

50 times a year. 200 times in 4 years.

But however harsh that may be, a Rolex is supposed to withstand that too, assuming youre doing it gently and not between 10pm and 2am.
