I've got another. I'm in serious lust with the Saturn Sky. I planned to get one as my next car. Unfortunately, GM is doing away with the Saturn line so I'd have to buy used. That's okay w/me, but my husband would prefer me to get something more practical and for which I can be sure of getting parts for the indefinite future.
He's right, but he's still being a big, fat party pooper! Jeannie |

MERC SL 63 AMG or the previous SL 55 AMG ( the best looking SL ever made IMO )
That's my kind of car when it comes to roadsters Voted for the SLK though because there was no option for the SL

I personally think you forgot one. Honda S2000. that would be my pick. But of the ones you listed...the Bimmer.

Well I am a bit partial as I have one of these. But I have owned both the Z3M and the Z4. The Z3M was a scary car and I don't think in my 3 years of ownership did I ever "get on it" to its maximum push. I tried, but would always let off.
The Z4 I have now has much less HP and has the SMG transmission which is fabulous. Paddles on the steering wheel and is hydraulically shifted by computer and when set in auto mode it acts like an automatic which makes it easy for Leah to drive. It is also much more roomy and comfortable on long drives, but dang.... I do miss that classic roadster interior of the Z3M Roadster. SMG transmission if you want to know a little more: http://www.usautoparts.net/bmw/models/6er/m6/smg.htm I love these cars and will probably always have one or the other. These are my two "other women" as Leah calls them.

Oh, and this is my dream roadster. Sigh!
Can't decide on which interior though! Yeah, like I am ever going to be put in that dilemma at 178,900 € incl. VAT!!! Perhaps this one!!!

the Z4 without doubt !
second would be the Audi than the Porsche , than the SLK (sorry no Japanese cars for me) The design of the Z4 is imo one of the most beautifull I know. Imo the Posche gets votes because it is a Porsche. It just ain't a nive car :(. The 911 is another story. But the Boxster ... no

If you put the top down in the Z4 you can stand up to pee out over the driver's side door quite easily!
Problem solved!!!!!!!

Make sure you get one in Dakar Yellow so that that stains don't show.

Just to throw in some more options I saw in the motorshow recently:
Lexus LF A roadster: Lotus Elise (a bit like driving a go-cart ) and of course not quite a roadster but very comfy Bentley My pick would be the Audi TT. |

Well out of the one you have listed most likely the Z4, although if it were a V12 Merc, that would possibly be different.
But give me a classic eg 1960's rear wheel drive convertible where it has to be driven, rather than the electrics doing it all for you! Far more fun Si

As far as I know, the Pontiac Solstice (another one left off the list) is still in production. Virtually identical with respect to the interior and handling and only some cosmetic differences on the outside. I got mine in October '06 and have really enjoyed owning it. Another plus is that the price is such that you can get one and have lots of $$$ left over for Rolexes. No more practical than the Sky, but at least parts and service won't be an issue. Best, Skip |

They're dropping Pontiac, Saturn, Hummer, and one other which escapes me right now. I may buy a Sky in spite of the husband. Haven't decided yet, but no hurry. Used they're very reasonable. 17-18k for an 07 with low miles. Heck, a lot of folks on here paid more than that for their watch! Jeannie |

I agree, the S2000 should be in the poll. However, with what is in the poll, the Boxster is the best pick.
