Well I'm pleased to hear that. Your opening remark "do you even know how to verify that a movement is genuine?" came across that way.
I accept that it's not always possible to correctly interpret the tone of a post and if I've misread yours, I'm sorry. However I have noticed a marked increase in rudeness in some posters.
I'd like to draw a line under this now with your agreement. Is that possible?

This. So much this.

Yes it does, actually. How long have you been a member here? I've been here 10 years, and not once have I heard of someone being caught out by a trusted seller. Not once. Not to mention AD purchases.

Please do share which well-meaning sellers have been screwed. I'm all ears. I'd even be willing to bet they're not in the circle of people I do business with.

By the way, ignorant is your word, not mine. I said I would only do business with sellers that I trusted, which when you think about it, would render the purchase of such a tool pointless.

If you're not a watchmaker you have no business inside a watch. If it is a very high quality fake I doubt many on here could tell from the movement. Some of them are freaky.

Hi Bas,

I opened my ‘88 TT OQ as soon as I got it to check that the movement was ok and that there were no battery issues.

I changed the battery while I was ‘inside’.

Sorry!
