False info. 2:1 batgirl to Pepsi and about 2:1 Pepsi to white dial Daytona. This also reflect in actual market pricing

Don’t know. The Pepsi is still a pastel tone and given the jubilee bracelet and too many colors it like a disco ball. The batman is far more integrated due to black, blue and colors less pastel like. If I was gifted a Pepsi, I would flip it in a instant and get. Proper 5 digit Pepsi, back when Rolex made tool watches and did color well. I’m not impressed with 40 year old crockery passed off on me like it’s something special. Seiko is making ceramic inserts for under 600 bucks (no knock on seiko I love them and own them too). They rushed the red to the market and the result is not good in my opinion.

Who wants a watch associated with a sugary non-alcoholic soft drink?

I personally think the best combination to a collection would be an Oyster Batman for the newer ceramic look along with the 16710 Pepsi on Jubilee for the true blue/red colour. This would give the biggest contrast of the two models and feel like completely different watches.

For a little more explanation: The watch hype trends are cyclical and ever changing as many current “hot” models today like the LVc (Hulk) or even Daytona were never desirable for a lot of their life when initially introduced. Dial colors also rotates in which will demand more money but even that is cyclical. With the conservative styling of Rolex watches, You almost can’t make a bad Rolex purchase providing you are buying the watch you like.

If I had to make a guess, first of all the Pepsi is, at least in my opinion, the better looking one of the two. So it is more demanded due to that. And if I had to guess, way more of them are being made. Because BLNR is replacing the LN and because the BLNR bezel is way easier to make than the BLRO they are making more of them. Therefore decreasing the prices.

The shortest answer is I don't have the slightest clue. If I were to speculate, its just because everyone else wants it ie. its the hype watch of the moment. The Batman is not because it came with an Oyster bracelet previously & not everyone has accepted the new configuration. I prefer the Batman because I always prefer some black in the bezel to represent nighttime. Yes, I have the Coke 5 digit. Looking forward, the Pepsi will always be around in some form or another but I cannot say the same for the Batman.

I really don’t understood how anyone could think a watch would make them popular when 99% of the world has no idea nor do they care that you are even wearing a watch. It would make more sense for them to buy a Porsche or a McLaren.

Hi! Why do Pepsis have so much more value than Batmans now?

[QUOTE=Calatrava r;10484318]The BLRO bezel is much harder to get right and it competes for three models in the current line-up. Thus. much less SS BLROs are delivered than the BLNR. Additionally, the Pepsi is simply more popular in the secondary causing a higher premium.[/]

This!
