Just gave my daughter an OysterQuartz for her 24th birthday. Having a small wrist, I needed to remove all the removable links, only to find the last fixed link was too wide to fit inside the clasp, so it would not close, necessitating that I put back one of the removable links (which fits inside the clasp). The micro adjustment inside the clasp only allows me to move the bracelet halfway in before the fixed link engages, which again would not allow the clasp to close shut. Short of bending the clasp, or grinding down the fixed link, neither of which I want to do. Any suggestions? Thank you.

I had to have permanent link removed to get my 5513 to fit.

Thanks for the reply. That's hopeful. Did you have RSC remove the permanent link or can a private watch jeweler do this? The 17013 has a different type bracelet that intergrated style, is very different from the usual jubilee.

I don’t believe Rolex will remove permanent links. I went to Giovanni in SF
