Just for fun, if you could have only one full PM piece, what would it be?

Just for fun, if you could have only one full PM piece, what would it be? I’m not quite in a position to make this happen, but about a month ago I tried on this GMT and it is currently my choice. I just love how smooth and chocolatey it looks!

There are a couple of close seconds that I would LOVE as well (like a Platona), but this one felt amazing on the wrist and just has such a warm presence about it that I really love.

That is a great looking watch in rose gold! I know you said full PM, but I’m going with the YM RG on OF. Actually trying to source one at my local AD now. I guess that is cheating?

Nah that’s ok. I expected some would choose the models on Oysterflex. Good choice! I really like the YM 42 in white gold on Oysterflex.

Platinum Day Date ice blue quarantine with blue Roman numerals. To my eye the perfect watch.

A grand Lange 1, or a Vacheron Traditionnelle. Seriously, if I could have only one, it would certainly not be a sports watch, not to mention a Rolex. Nothing against PM submariners, but that’s in my view something you’d only buy as a fun watch after you got all of the properly serious watches that get clad in gold...

Ok I guess I should have specified, it’s gotta be a Rolex.

Ok :) In that case, I guess I‘ll have a great fun yellow gold submariner (blue dial), a beautiful pool, a sunny day, a few cocktails and some proper company to share them with...

I agree here. Realistically though paying with my own money I'd probably go for a WG DD40 with silver quadrant dial. My AD qouted a pretty good price a year ago.
