A dial change on my DD II from black roman numeral to champagne roman numeral. I am liking it and still have the black dial so in the future I may switch back.

If anything held the promise of making the largely portioned DDII feel classic, or more classic, it’d be a champagne dial. Nice!

I love it! You will not regret purchasing the watch. I’ve owned mine for about 6 months and I catch myself starring at it all the time when I wear it.

Beautiful watches everyone in this thread. The day date is such an iconic watch.

Finally took the plunge and got a DD40 last week! Been wanting one for years but had to get a few Pateks and AP’s out of my system first!

When I was hunting for my platinum DD, I saw a few meteorite dials. I haven’t seen many on WG models (either with or without diamonds), this looks great. Congrats!

Thanks! I almost pulled the trigger on a PT blue Roman dial, then my neighbor showed me his old school YG36 DD w/meteorite dial and I was hooked. Was on the fence between WG and PT but eventually went WG for the fluted bezel as hides scratches better and I have an OP36 for my work watch with domed bezel. The DD has everything I want in a watch!

118239 first released in 2000 along with many other references until 2008 when the dd2 was released
