For sale is an excellent condition 41mm stainless steel Pierre Kunz Spirt of Challenge Tahitian Moonphase. The PKA 014 HMRL was originally purchased from an US AD in 2009 and is accompanied by its original: box, papers, and factory service records. The Pierre Kunz features a brushed steel case, which is accented by polished chamfers, and a fixed smooth bezel . The Spirt of Challenge is mounted on an OEM black alligator strap, which is contrasted by yellow stitching, and secured by a brushed steel tang buckle. The OEM strap does contain some creasing, and show signs of wear, but it still has a fair amount of use life left. The Pierre Kunz features a semi skeletonized dial with: a dual retrograde hour and minuet display, yellow hands, and moonphase display at the bottom, which is surrounded by a hand applied tahitian mother of peal detail. The movement used in the PKA 014 HMRL is the Pierre Kunz calibre PK2001 which features approximately 42 hours of power reserve, and is proudly displayed through an exhibition caseback. Overall the Pierre Kunz is in excellent condition, with the only imperfection being, the creasing on the strap, from mimal wrist time by the previous owner. It is worth mentioning that the Pierre Kunz is a one owner watch, and was directly purchased from the original owner. The original retail price of the Spirt of Challenge was in excess of $16,000, thus making the Pierre Kunz an extremely lucrative buy, at less than ⅓ of the original asking price !
