GMTIIc Current Prices? New.

1st post.

I'm currently in the market for a GMTIIc SS to either replace or join my Datejust.
I think I'm gonna sell my Datejust because the 36mm is looking a little small now that I have been trying on larger watches..

I do not want to buy used, but grey market might be an option. Are these dipping to 20 below yet? 20% below that is..

In the past I have been offered 15% off on a GMT-IIC from my AD on the SS watch. Yesterday I was at the AD and on a TT GMT-IIC was offered 21% off. So there you go!!!

wow... so maybe i dont even have to go to grey market, if ADs are doing it below, I would just rather stick with an AD.

Anyone know any ADs here in SoCal / Orange County that they can recommend? Preferably that would take my DJ in as trade?

I was at the Wynn last weekend in Vegas and the Rolex AD there would only take 12% off on the $25,550 18kt gold GMT IIc. The big selling point for ADs there is "we'll ship out of state" to avoid sales tax. But it seemed no one was wiling to take more than 15% off retail. And I visited tons of watch shops.

You might want to check with Tempo, he may be able set you up with one at a pretty decent price. When I was looking a month or so ago, the best I could do in Dallas was getting an AD to cover my sales tax, which is 8.25% in Dallas; I ended up buying an as new GMTIIC under $5K on TZ. Some folks don't care to buy a pre-owned watch, however, it doesn't bother me.
