Does Rolex sell bracelet alone any more?

I am wondering I can buy a bracelet alone from Rolex?

if so, how much would it be for a DJ 41 2 tone Jubilee

In my experience with the NY service center they will only sell you a bracelet to attach to the watch that you bring to them. In other words, they won't sell you the bracelet as a stand alone item. They will also offer you a small discount if you leave your old bracelet with them.

What happens in case that you show up at service with only the watch case and inform them that you lost your bracelet somewhere while cleaning the watch or something (while in reality you just took off your bracelet so you can sell them the story and get them to order a new one for you if you are after it) .. ?

I have been told by RSC Canada that they will supply a bracelet for my 16710 without requiring the old bracelet to be retained by RSC. I don’t know if this applies to other models as well, or if it is allowed in the US.

They'll sell you one assuming it was actually an option on that watch.

This is what I was told too from RSC Beverly Hills, CA. Also, they will let you keep your bracelet but only let you buy one that originally came with the watch or the currently available version for the most recent reference of that model. They will give you a small discount if you return your bracelet. I am going to emphasize that word "SMALL". Most likely they won't sell you anything unless you go in person with the watch and bracelet or simply no bracelet at all but you will need at least the watch head to begin that conversation. This from my most recent experience about 4 months ago with my TT GMT 1675. Although, I should mention, before they would do any of that it had to be authenticated and full service accepted.

Sent my 16710 to RSC Dallas with the oyster bracelet for a new jubilee. They told me to send the old one in with a note asking to return it and they did. It didn’t sound like there was going to be a discount on the jubilee if I let them keep the oyster.

I bought a TT bracelet for my DJ41. It came with the jubilee and I added the oyster(own both). The TT bracelet will hurt your feelings ....bad. It’s like $4000us.

I can confirm you can provided you have a watch that has it as an option. Not sure if they let you buy 2 of the same though.

My scenario was BB58 Steel Bracelet. What I had on it was the Nato.

Then you buy a bracelet without the discount for exchanging the old one. It’s a 50% uplift on the price.

If you have a preowned DJ 41, it may be more cost effective to source a preowned Jubilee for it. If you’re trying put it together to sell then it won’t matter to the buyer.

But if it’s for personal use, perhaps send it in for a service on a NATO and ask them to attach the proper TT Jubilee.

What type of discount are we talking about? Would be great to have a new glide lock + brushed bracelet for my 114060. I also don’t want to give mine up for pennies since it is fully functioning and only hairline scratches.

So from what I can understand from reading this topic (correct if I’m wrong):

I have a SD4K 116600 with glidelock (and extension but removed). I am looking to buy a 116710 BLNR but wish to have more adjustability as I prefer the glidelock on the SD4k bracelet.
Can I just take off my SD4k bracelet and bring the head into an AD with a story how I lost it or it broke (or whatever) and they will order me a replacement? Once the replacement is here I can then put this straight (appreciate there is some fiddling with spring bars) onto my BLNR (or my DaytonaC)?

If so, does anyone have an idea how much (UK£) this would be and how long it would typically take for delivery?

yes RSC will sell you a bracelet. It will cost you ALOT though.

I remember several years ago I got quoted about $13k USD for a Rose Gold SkyD bracelet. I think its more now!!

An authorised watchmaker with a parts account that is following Rolex’s rules will not fit a sea dweller bracelet to any watch other than your sea dweller.

No discount on steel bracelets (which also means you don’t need to surrender your old one).

That’s fine - I’ll use the same tool I used to take the original one off in the first place...

AD at Wynn has a parts account and can order it. Once they reopen.

If it's an option for the watch, they'd sell it

It's not worth trading it in. I have a GMT but they quoted me $3800 to replace the jubilee with a new jubilee or an oyster. The jubilee bracelet that was on the watch was an american made 14K version that I had refurbished by Rolliworks a few months prior, looks good but not great as it was quite worn initially. Apparently they thought so too and offered a discount of $200 for a trade-in on a new tt bracelet at $3600. I believe the gold in the old bracelet is worth more than what they offered.

And on the other point. You can buy whatever bracelet originally offered by Rolex for that reference. If you are looking to add a Jubilee to your BLNR or Daytona that did not originally come with one, then like someone else said put your SD4K on a nato, send it to your AD and ask for a proper bracelet. Then transfer it to your other watch as they will not sell you one for either of the other references if it was not originally offered that way. Make sure it fits first. Good luck!
