Day Date 36 with diamond-set bracelet/dial: How are the diamonds configured?

This is my first post here and I’m interested in the Day-Date 36 with diamond-set bracelet and/or diamond-paved dial.

Is it four or five diamonds in a row on the bracelet, and three diamonds vertically/column-vise? The pictures from the Rolex site suggest 5 in a row for those in production, but I’ve also seen a lot of pictures with 4 in a row, or are they older models?

And how are the diamonds configured/attached on the dial, with 3,4 (or more?) “claws” that hold each diamond?
(Even though I zoom in on the dial-pictures from the Rolex site, I can’t see)

Relevant reference-models are:

128349rbr-0012
128349rbr-0013
128349rbr-0014
128349rbr-0016
128349rbr-0017
128348rbr-0031
128348rbr-0030
128348rbr-0027
128348rbr-0010
128345rbr-0043
128345rbr-0042

I would love to see real up-close pictures of the diamond-set bracelet and/or diamond-paved dial of the Day-Date 36, so If you have any, please post. Thanks a lot!!

Unfortunately idk the answer to your question, but I’m sure you have become aware that there are a LOT of custom/aftermarket diamond set dials, cases, bezels and bracelets. At least as to diamond bezels, I’d guess there are many more aftermarket ones than there are from the factory.

I’m assuming you will also be looking for a diamond bezel model — If so, and if you are buying anything other than brand-new from an AD, be sure to familiarize yourself with THIS THREAD on past factory DD diamond bezels.

Thanks. Yes correct, I'm only interested in those made by the factory.
