2009 Rolex Teaser
I just check the rolex website and there was no teaser for basel world this year?
Why is that? Does that mean rolex isn't introducing new creations this year? I sure hope not. Speaking of rolex teasers. Does anyone in this forum have pictures of previous teasers? I remember the SDDS teaser last year and the Ceramic the year before. I cant remember the previous one. Thanks

Remember the teaser with shots of the YM II bezel & most of us thought it was a new TT Blue Sub?
They pulled a rabbit out of the hat there |

Teasers are reserved for non-recession years I guess. Although, seeing as here in the U.S. we're over 18 months into this recession, I guess that theory doesn't hold much weight. Dang...I guess I'll just keep checking rolex.com 10X's per day. Cheers.

I'd love to see the hit stat's for rolex.com over the last few weeks... strange absence of teaser this year. I've heard everything from nothing new in the sports range, to new Exp II/SS Sub.......
Having been a Rolex watcher for some years, other brands sometimes seem 'oddly open' by comparison. I mean, freely releasing details of new models before Basel ferheavenssake.......... Cheers

Yeah but that is NOT a clasp for a Sub. It looks exactly like my Milgauss standard clasp (No flip-lock).
The new Sub clasp should be at least similar to the GMTc clasp or the SDDS. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Trust me. All pictures will be reviled by someone almost 24 hours before the show begins. They always do every year .

In regards to the Submariner clasp, I think that's just a stock photo. If they are releasing a Sub this year, it'll almost certainly be with a Glidelock clasp - it makes no sense to release the Glidelock on the 18Ct Subs and Deep Sea, and revert to a clasp that isn't suitable for diving. Don't read into it too much :)
