Yes this is correct. They employ only 20 gem specialists who work full time to create all the gem set pieces in the Rolex lineup

Rolex factory diamonds
IF grade for clarity, and color D-E-F grade.
If a true FL Diamond is in the bezel, dial or bracelet then you got a bonus. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

How much carat weight per stone? On a DJ41, you get 10 tiny stones that replace the lume stick. Is it worth the incremental ~$2k? I'm guessing these are very profitable pieces for Rolex!

They use IF or better, not F necessarily.

Of course it’s worth it!!! We’re it not, they’d have no buyers. Just like a SS DJ41 is worth $8K... Round diamond on the dial are perhaps .1ct. (yes, 1/10th each) - or maybe even less since the cut isn’t a typical one. I’m no jewel expert but the round diamonds are no more than 2mm in diameter. Some of that is visually lost for the gold surround mounting. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Information from the Rolex site:
https://www.rolex.com/about-rolex-wa...gemstones.html It doesn't go into detail just states that the stones must not have inclusions at 10x magnification with a color between D - G. There was a thread a while back where someone placed a UV light on the stones within his diamond bezel (DD) and some had fluorescence which sometimes is not a bad thing.
