Are the AP pre-owned prices at Chrono24 way too overstated?

To have an idea of market value of a watch I check the lowest price on C24 and knock down 5%.
Of course the condition, the goodies and the seller are important factors to consider.
Unless it is new or near new, I wouldn’t buy a watch I don’t hold physically in my hand and see with my own eye. I have seen many watches described as very good but in fact multiple notches below that level, especially older models.
