Oh boy, the nerve of some people, You spend a lot of money on a watch to store it in a box. Its crazy how some people think.
I guess he will buy a porche and keep it in his garage covered up too.
Beautiful watch man!

The view from that Tesla that day was amazing. Rolex should have made a deal for a new Rolex to be on the arm of the driver...That would have been interstellar!!!

I'll be 85 this Saturday and I still take an old towel to wipe off the door jams and around the hood and hatch on my Lexus. And I'm either wearing my YG DD or my meteorite dial Daytona. As others have said, if you have 'em wear 'em. My 2 kids will each get one of these someday but meanwhile, I'm going to enjoy them. Just hope they appreciate each and every scratch.

John Mayer wore his Patek while picking dog poo . But I’m sure he got people doing that for him now.

You remind me of my grandpa, he always does as you describe and lives it to the fullest.

Great watch, great car as others mentioned!

I would never take my Porsche through a car wash. Only by hand wash (without my Rolex on).

And to be clear - I am appalled at the car abuse here and have no problem with people "living" in their watches.

My 2 tone Daytona has been all over the world with me and was my first Rolex and >10K watch almost 10 years ago. It could probable stand to be polished but it makes me smile. I wore it when I met my fiance', I wore it when I saw Sting and Peter Gabriel, I wore it to 5 daddy daughter dances, I wore it when I took delivery of my Porsche 911 5 years ago, etc.

It becomes less and less about the watch and more and more about the time capsule of memories.

Age just a number. This year on my 62nd birthday, I broke a rib crashing my dirt bike (with my trusty GMT on my wrist). All healed (that's a long 7 weeks), back in the woods on the bike last weekend. Let 'er rip!
