I bought myself a new Submariner 16110 here in Ireland approx ten years ago. Didn't know a whole lot about watches but just wanted a rolex. Love the watch, it has been worn every day and has hasn't let me down. Never polished or serviced.
I made the "mistake" of wandering into an AD last February while on a weekend away and ended up trying on a few new rolexes. Didn't buy on the day but I then spent the lockdown following this forum and being entertained by the likes of Archie, Oisin and Paul on youtube.
I decided I needed a new watch in my life. Maybe one with a little bit of gold now that I am that bit more mature. Initially I enquired about a two tone Daytona but then decided I wanted something with a simpler dial and a classic look. Picked up this DJ41 126333 last weekend and couldnt be happier. Only problem is now the wife wants one....

Welcome and be happy with that; she's embracing your passion!!! Post the combined wrist shot when you get it. I bought my wife one and she really loves it.
