DD 40 ceramic sleeves

Not sure if all Day Date wearers have actually seen the ceramic sleeves that come inside DD40s ... I took out three links last December and ran across my pic today

Not much to them, but I imagine over the years, these will make a ton of difference in the wear.

The ceramic sleeves imo were a great advancement for the President bracelet. Congrats on such an awesome watch

Thanks. I've never needed to remove any links so I've always been a bit ignorant of what lies behind those screws. Cheers!

They feel like plastic oddly enough.

If it’s a real improvement remains to be seen . We will know after a decade or so.

You must have at least a 7.5” wrist.

I know this has been asked before, is it just modern presidents (36 and 40) or PM oysters as well?

I'm not sure of all PM oysters...but I know for a fact the CHNR and the Platona both have them.

I can’t see how it couldn’t be one. Ceramic inserts make it pretty much impossible for bracelet stretch.

Interesting never knew that thank you

The ceramic inserts are one of the best features i think.
Another feature I’ve read is that the DD 40 has a few more facets cut into the bezel which allegedly makes more radiance.
I love that my DD40 will never stretch.
Best Wishes
