Rolex new releases September 1 (not a rumor - links within)

Per Robb Report, Yahoo, and others, this is happening. Citing directly to Rolex. This isn’t 5 sources linking to the same source. They are claiming independent confirmation from Rolex.

https://robbreport.com/style/watch-c...ember-2934392/

It’s Robb Report. Very reputable outfit.

Can we please stop locking the thread now.

Makes sense, next year is still far off and the sensibilities and anxieties of most of us are far improved from three months ago, could be a welcome shot in the wrist.

"Rolex wouldn’t confirm how many new models would be released "

"Predictions are flying that the update will be an upgrade on the movement"

"Whatever Rolex has up its sleeve, it will certainly have been a long-time coming"

What exactly is this bloke disclosing? That Rolex are releasing some new models? Wow! Who knew?

There’s nothing fake about Rolex confirming to Robb Report - a reputable online and physical publication that’s been around for 50 years - that they will release new watches on September 1st.

September 1, 2020 confirmation. That’s the salient part of this thread.

Let me be the first to say, my SA of 22 years just told me they heard the same thing from their rep although no speculation of what it may be.

Speaking to my AD last week whilst looking at a TT Daytona and they stated that Rolex are not updating the range this year due to Covid everything is on hold.

Several credible sources have said the same thing and that they heard it directly from Rolex reps. First was Watchbox.

Just in case Rolex decides to grant the watch-collecting community’s wishes, we suggest you plan on staying very close to your laptop on September 1 and have your AD on speed dial.
As if to think you'd stand a chance at getting a new model if you're the one who has the AD's phone number on speed dial. Should be written to indicate the other way around..
