Love it!

It's the only Sky-D that really gets my motor running.

This was actually the spec I was looking for, but unfortunately could not obtain from an AD due to it being discontinued for so long. Why don’t you wear it often? Is it the weight? I’m actually considering modifying my watch to allow an oyster bracelet, but am waiting on that change.

I just get more drawn to Yellow Gold sports models versus the white gold.

Congrats.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion... so, I’ll share mine.

I’m not a fan of the white calendar with the black dial. I much prefer all black. And I don’t care for the cut off 5, 6, and 7 on the dial. I prefer classic hour markers on this model. My 2 cents. Others may agree or disagree. That’s fine.

Rolex agrees with you because on all the Sky references (sliced) Arabic and Roman indexed were replaced with sticks!

My opinion is the arabics, romans and contrasting GMT-ring on these dials give the Sky it’s own identity , compared to a huge blown-up datejust with a matching GMT-ring.

And the whitegold on leather and bracelet with this dial is discontinued already for quit a long time. There is a long read somewhere on the net with a detailed analysis why exactly this reference will be a future classic.
