Service Parts

Morning all. Just curious, how do Rolex manage services on discontinued models. Giving an example, hypothetically let’s say the BLNR is discontinued next year, and I smash the ceramic bezel 10-15 years down the road, how do Rolex handle no longer produced replacement parts?

Cheers.

Good morning! The previous posts around this when I just searched, were answered with an estimation of 50 odd years support or more. Going by how they carry replacement parts for watches pre 1970.
The BLNR is a v popular model so hopefully they will have the bezels for decades to come.

Rolex carries parts for at least 30 years after model discontinued they still carry most parts for the 15 series movements from the 1970s.And in the real world many parts interchange and most modern day models have not basically changed since introduction of the 31 series movements back in 1988.And you could count on one hand the completely new models introduced over the past 20 odd years. Most all models have just been cosmetically changed like case styles, bracelets, inserts etc.Even with the new 32 series movements expect quite a few parts from the 31 series will interchange, so you will have no problem with any modern Rolex in your lifetime.

I honestly didn't know this. It's no wonder they still maintain their reputation. Thanks for sharing padi56
