Vacheron Constantin Fiftysix - Blue - Have You Seen It?

I haven't seen the blue on the Fiftysix in person. How brilliant is it? I'm sure that it's not comparable to the blue on the Overseas, for example.

Is there anything spectacular about the blue on the dial? Are there any watches to which you would compare the blue on the Fiftysix dial?

It’s nice, I had the silver dial but sold it, never ended up wearing it. The blue on the FiftySix doesn’t compare to the overseas. Don’t get me wrong it’s really nice but the dial doesn’t pop or have that overseas sunburst finish, if you can find the blue for under 14-15k used maybe It’s worth it, otherwise just stick to a overseas just my 2c

Thanks. You can find the base Fiftysix blue for <$10K for a full kit. I just can't decide though whether I'd be happy with it and how regular of a place it would have in the rotation.

I'd love to have something that's a brilliant blue.

I was referring to the Complete Calendar model, forgot to mention that

Anyways the dials are the same for calendar or base model, so ask yourself how many blue watches do you own? Do you like blue leather straps? I personally don’t. I know I had the complete calendar and different color dial but it was Never in my rotation lol

The blue date only version is nice and actually works well with the bracelet too. Just remember this version does not have the Geneva hallmark so the finishing is not as good as the other models in the fifty six range but of course that is why it is cheaper.

It’s a very held back hue, more of a petrol blue. It’s not lacquer built like the overseas, so a different dial entirely.

Yes, tried this during SIHH when it was launched. The blue is beautiful though not as sharp as the Overseas blue.

This. Saw one at the boutique, while impressed, it wasn't a standout piece by any means.

It is definitely more muted blue. I quite like it tbh and wears more casually. Personally I wouldn't mind having one in the rotation.
