Back from Dallas Service Center

I just received my Batman back from service after 6 months. Man that was a long wait. But well worth it. It was loosing 10 seconds a day and bezel was dented due to a fall on the floor. Now it is back as new and just did a water test! Runs perfect now! Here’s a shot under water.

Looks beautiful. How much did the bezel swap cost you?

I was really lucky. since the watch was only 6 months old Rolex only charged me $170 for a new crystal, new bezel, and movement overhaul. Maybe because the Bezel was backordered for 8 weeks. not sure, but due to pandemic it took over 6 months to get back.

That’s a great price!

Beautiful!

That watch looks best on Jubilee IMO.

BTW, I think you were "losing 10 seconds"

Glad to hear the RSC finally came through.

Looks good as new...I am curious, how was the bezel dented? Usually the ceramic would just crack. Do you have any pictures of the damage?

Here you go. I posted somewhere a while back. Ceramic didn’t crack but they still replaced the insert.

Welcome back! Cool shot underwater. Love the "watch safe" string bracelet too! May I ask where you got it?

Tbh I’m not to sure. I had the watch for a month before I dropped it and wore it for about 5 more months before having the guts to send it in.

How much time? I would say anything over 4 sec a day to send it in. Maybe ness to settle in a bit.

Yeah true. I’m going to monitor it for next couple months. If it loses more than 5 sec I’ll send it in.
