Tudor strap/bracelet cost?
I think I am on the hunt for the new Black Bay 58 Blue (yeah yeah, like everyone else...). I really want the bracelet and the cloth strap. Generally speaking, what is the cost of purchasing the strap by itself, and purchasing the bracelet by itself? I know the general rule of thumb is to buy on bracelet and pick up straps separately, as that is the most cost effective. But the bracelet-equipped SKU appears to be supply constrained, while the strap option may be more readily available (according to the forums). I am trying to figure out what sort of penalty/premium would be paid by purchasing on a strap now and picking up a bracelet once it is available.
Thanks in advance! |

$850 for BB58 bracelet.
Soft touch is $175 for the strap + $290 for the clasp. I don’t have the fabric price on me but that would give you an idea.

Wowza. So I definitely need to hunt down one on bracelet if I want bracelet + NATO/fabric (Assuming it is Omega-NATO territory). The differential on the strap/clasp seems a wash.
Thanks for the replies! |

Note that, if it's the same fabric strap as on the larger BBs, it's not actually a NATO strap. It is a single piece that passes under the watch head, but the strap has springbar slots built into it like a regular strap. Think of it more as a normal strap whose two pieces happen to be connected.
Which, to me, is better than an actual NATO. I like the design a lot. |
