DJ 41 w/ Dark Rhodium

Check this out. My local AD pinged me today and has this in stock and was curious if I was interested. Not exactly my style, and not sure the 41 mm will fit my wrists. What do you guys think?

One of the better dial options on the DJ imo. But i prefer the look of a fluted bezel and jubilee bracelet on the DJ.

If it’s not a watch you’re after and you think it might be too big it’s an easy pass. Don’t buy just because it was offered to you.

Rhodium is one of the best dials for a DJ IMO, but if it isn’t your style then give it a hard pass. Would prefer Jubilee and Fluted too.

It's a great one IMO, especially in the sun. I have the exact reference. I also have a black dial with jubilee, and I like to swap the bracelets from time to time. It's one of the more versatile dial options--can be dressed up or down quite easily.

And on the jubilee...

I have the same reference but with a blue dial. I think it's one of the easiest Rolex pieces to dress up or down.

Was very close to buying this exact configuration once, still thinking about it, and still just might. If it doesn't excite you, though... no hard feelings.

Cheers

I seen this in the metal at my AD's last week. It was the diamond dial version but wow what a stunner. Looks even better in person.

Thanks for pic of your DJ41 on jubilee..i was wondering if I should have gone that route and now I'm glad I got the SS. I agree it's very versatile!

I like that combo. I might pick up the same combo blue dial when my AD comes up with one. No rush, but told him if it comes, I'll likely get it.

I also do like the smooth/jubilee combo though.

Since you asked for opinions, when I saw the rhodium for the first time at an AD I was very underwhelmed. It was flat and boring. Also, a DJ at the very minimum, should have either fluted bezel or jubilee bracelet. It’s nice when an AD reaches out to you, makes you feel special, but you stated in your post that it’s not your style. Should be an easy pass.

Easy pass is right. I think, as many shared, if it had teh fluted bezel and jubilee bracelet it might work. Still would like to see it in person, but that might be a bad idea!

Thanks everyone for weighing in.
