That is exactly what I did. I wanted a different look and asked the boutique if it could be done, one thing led to another and the bracelet ended up at my doorstep. Removing the links was a PITA, what with the double screws and all

The metal bracelet in combination with the 42 case was for me thé trigger to buy my first Panerai watch. The updated design of this bracelet show the semi-circular form of the Luminor crown bridge. Wears outstanding BTW.
(Lugs -> 22 mm)

I don't know man, not for me, I'd rather have it on a leather which was ironically not comfortable for me (I sold the watch) but this does give it a different look and it looks like a clean install/fit especially around the lugs, enjoy
