Tudor Black Bay 58 help
Hi guy’s I’m looking for some help ....
I am thinking about getting a Black bay 58 probably on the fabric strap the problem is it’s very difficult to find an AD local that has one in stock to view before placing a deposit and joining the list. My concern is my wrist size is somewhere between 7.5in - 7.25in and I’m a little worried it may look to small for me. If any of you guys have a similar size wrist I would love to here your thoughts on how it wears and some wrist shoots would be a massive help 🍺 Thanks guys |

I suspect you'd be fine, but size perception on the wrist is a very personal thing. There are folks here who think a 36mm Datejust on your wrist would be perfect, but others would think you could handle a 44mm DSSD (and I personally wouldn't recommend either at your wrist size).
It wears about the same as a 39mm Tag Heuer Carrera (similar case shape and lug length). You can almost certainly find one of those to try on. Or, in general, if you ask to try on a 39mm diver without crown guards from almost any brand, you'll get a similar sense of it. Or just try on a Rolex sub. If you find the sub a hair large, then the BB58 will be perfect. If you think the sub is perfect, you'll find the BB58 a hair small. If you can try an older five-digit sub, the two are even closer. |

As above really. I’ve got a 7in wrist and love how it fits - wouldn’t want it much smaller though

My wrist is in the 7.5-7.75" range and for me the 58 is too small. They had one at the AD last time i went and it looked tiny to my eyes. Keep in mind the watches I own are 41-44 mm in diameter, so 39 looked very small by comparison.

My wrist is only 6.7", but when I tried on the BB58 on a fabric strap, I thought it looked small. I ended up buying the BB Heritage with the black bezel.

Just to prove that wrist circumference is not everything.
My wrist is 6.8 inches but quite flat, and the bb58 looks smaller on my wrist than on some of the larger wrist sizes. |

My wrist is 7 inches, so slightly smaller than your own, but I picked this guy up on strap late last week. For reference purposes, I wear both DD36 and SD43 comfortably, but 39-41 tends to be my sweet spot. The lug-to-lug measurement on this watch is 47.75 and I’m really enjoying it on my wrist so far. |

I have same wrist size as you. The 58 is perfect. I used to wear 44/47mm Panerai. You can't go too small with watches, only too big. I've tried on DJ 36s recently and they are awesome. Wear a 58 for a while and anything much bigger feels cumbersome and unnecessary (in my experience)

As much as I want this to be true, it is not. I always gravitate to 36mm, yet when I try them on, my wife and even ADs have told me it looks way too small, unfortunately.
I do believe that the 58’s size is a sweet spot for 95% of wrists. It is a special watch. |
