Well, after about 8 months of waiting I finally got the call over the weekend for a SS DJ41 - fluted bezel, blue sticks, jubilee bracelet (ref 126334). It's a watch I've been after for a long time. The call came from an AD in a different part of the country but they were kind enough to send it free-of-charge to the Rolex Boutique (owned by the same group) in my city.



I was originally going to pick it up next weekend but it arrived sooner than expected so I went into town today. As usual, the staff were brilliant and always happy to help.



I do feel kind of sorry for them. They opened this new Boutique only a few days before NZ went into lockdown back in March. Due to the lockdown they had to close until the end of April/early May. Their business model had a heavy focus on high-spending international visitors that are now restricted from entering the country.



When border restrictions finally start to ease I would highly recommend a visit to this Boutique if you're in NZ.
