I was very sad when Vanessa at JOT retired a few years ago. After recently picking up a mint 116520 in need of service I debated just sending to Rolex but was sold on LA Watch Works due to reputation and commitment to great service. I am always amazed when I see the process of a service in action. Here she is getting all the love!

Nice shot, LAWW do have a reputation on finishing and detailing watches. Hope you can share some pics of the casework

They probably take a pic of the watch without the case and then the same disassembled movement picture thinking nobody would notice lol.

Well, in this case it's VERY hard not to notice that the rotor lacks the red "DAYTONA" writing...

This is why I'm not a watchmaker. I'd end up with a dish with about 5 little parts that I forgot to put back in, and no clue where they belong.

The winding rotor is perhaps the largest part in the image that is the tell-tale sign (hint: one has a set of bearings whereas one has a pin.)

I've read that the 4130 is one of the best chronograph movements in the industry. Why is that? How is it better than the Speedmasters or the El Primeros?
