Kind of shocked at my new watches accuracy
Picked up an white dial oyster perpetual maybe 3 months ago and love it. I'm not even sure I'm gonna get anymore watches going forward now that nothing except my OP is getting worn. Anyway, the last time I set the time on it was a little over 6 weeks....and it that time it has lost THREE SECONDS. I've never had such an accurate automatic watch from any brand, Rolex included. Kind of blown away...three seconds in 6 weeks is truly beyond my wildest expectations

Kind of shocked at my new watches accuracy
Some superstitious WIS believe a boast begets bothersome loss of COSC behavior.
I have had watches that performed spot-on as yours but only one or two of the dozens over the years. Glad youre chuffed with yours. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

My dj 41 was spookily accurate at first but less so now I wear on rotation. Better than the 3130 in my sub.

I once had a handwind steinhart pilot watch that consistently ran +0.2 - freakishly accurate and from quite an ordinary movement

Movements are overrated.

Iv'e had similar success. On most watches I noticed that it starts to deviate if not worn, when the power reserve at less than ~30%

My 116610 is also very accurate, usually within 2 seconds a month, it is now 2 years old and still as accurate. My fathers new DJ is also basically spot on.
My vintage 1680 is +15s a month, I usually have it regulated after a service to be that accurate. It is possible if you have regular wear patterns. Maybe Rolex just is better now at regulating them at the factory and the modern movements have basically no positional variations? |

One of my watches has been running for about 2 years and it's been +0 ever since. Oh wait, it's atomic
Glad your OP is running spectacularly. Enjoy! |
