BLRO spring bar came loose, can’t reseat it now
I have a BLRO Meteorite. Recently I adjusted the micro adjustment On the inside of the clasp to make it slightly tighter. After wearing it for a few days I realized I didn’t like it being so tight so I placed it back in its original position. As I was doing this I noticed that the spring bar on the other side where the clasp release is had dislodged from the holes that it sits in on the inside of the clasp. I tried to get the spring bar to lock back in however it only clicks in to the small hole on the inside of the clasp on one side. After manipulating it multiple times I can’t get the other side of the springboard to click into the hole. I flipped the spring bar over and it Still would not engage the clasp. When I examined the spring bar both ends seem to Be able to be pushed in and out and recoil back out nicely. The ends of the bar also have a little nipple on it that looks like it should engage properly Any ideas as to what’s going on here? Am I just not doing something right or do I need a new spring bar? I’m pretty good at adjusting my class in the past and have a Bergeon adjustment tool for the spring bars. Thx

Just a gut feeling but sounds like somethings bent. IMHO

Yes I,did that and still no luck. I spoke to a trusted seller and he said he has seen this before. He says you have to push down on the spring bar firmly on each side to get it to engage. I’ll try this tonite

Oh man if it's that spring bar then it's a pain to put back on since the clasp release has a spring of its own. Do you know how it got dislodged? Usually that part of the clasp gets untouched.
Best if you take it to your AD to get it fixed to avoid any damage to the spring bar or clasp assembly. |

If the spring bar is good meaning it isn't bent or broken, then you may have to get the pin over the hole, and use the springbar tool to extend into the hole, in other words push it into the hole don't expect it to spring power itself into position.
