Getting smaller ... DJ36 advice

I had to sell my DJ41 blue due to employment situation (Crorona) but things have slightly changed so been looking to get another DJ . .

For a long time I've been getting more attracted to smaller pieces . I have a 7.25 wrist and tried an old vintage DJ on recently and it looked and felt great.. surprisingly. I didn't get it and felt I probably prefer something slightly newer.

I have been drawn to a classic TT version but also like the Steel blue. See attached watches currently available. Similar prices both 6 digit.

Interested in your thoughts, as I being indecisive !

I don't know my DJs as much as sports models. Is the roulette date desired or not ?

I wouldn’t be able to go past that all-steel one, love the colour on the date wheel too...

It depends on your collection. Out of these two, I'd choose the 116234 blue.

Just to give you some perspective here’s a newer DJ on my 6.25” wrist. I think it looks perfect so on a larger 7.5 wrist it may feel small for some......

Looks way too big to my eyes for a DJ. If you read all my post I’ve owned a DJ41 & it was fine but I’m into smaller stuff nowadays .. horses for courses :)

Yes this is DJ36 and looks fine on my smaller wrist. On your larger wrist it will look smaller than a DJ41 which is what you’re looking for right?

I like the classic look of my DJ : TT 116233 w/ hidden Jubilee clasp and champagne dial. Of course, the blue DJ is also sharp. You can't go wrong with either one.

Personally, I think it's a matter of personal preference. I've tried the DJ36 on my wrist (tad over 7 inches) and wouldn't have a problem buying it. It's good to have the option either way, both look great.

Someone else said the following about 36mm watches here recently and I 100% agree... that when you put them on initially they just feel small and you can't gel with them.

Give it 24 hours and they feel the perfect size.

I think exactly this about my 36mm DJ. Wrists are smaller than yours at 7" exactly.

You really can't beat a DJ with an interesting dial and an oyster bracelet as a watch you can wear in all occasions. I happen to think that about the explorer too which might be a compromise on the two sizes for you at 39mm. Minus the date complication of course.

And I said oyster bracelet because its not too dressy for the casual days.

Blue dial oyster is my fav.
