This Speedmaster is the flagship of the Speedmaster line. The highly sought after moonphase complication is among the very pinnacle of high horology. In its continued connection to NASA, Omega includes an actual depiction of the moon's service even including the footprints left by the moon landing in 1969, bring out the loupe.

The dial is a matte finish for ease of reading. It uses the Moonwatch Professional 3 sub-dial set up with extended functionality. The sub-dial at 3 o’clock registers minutes and hours so you may track a second timezone, which is a great use for this function. The sub-dial at 9'oclock contains the date, circled with a red crescent, and the running seconds. The sub-dial at 6 o'clock carries the spectacular moonphase measured in 29 1/2 ticks. The tachymetre bezel that Omega is now ceramic embedded with liquid metal numbers, virtually impossible to scratch and will never fade.

The Omega bracelet is the signature brushed 5 segment pattern with a combination of brushed and polished finish. The bracelet features a quick adjust feature to always fit perfectly at the touch of a button.

This is the new standard, flagship model of this watch. The indices are outlined in white gold and filled with super luminova. This METAS certified timepiece, a certification exclusive to Omega, takes accuracy beyond the COSC Chronometer ratings making this a Master Chronometer.
