These calculations only took a few minutes. Really!

And it seems that I have established a nice smokescreen here. Drawing attention away from my obvious lack of a life by pointing out "other things".

Ok, it's OT.
Since the title is "Ok, I have put pencil to paper. " Richard, have you got an Agatha mechanical pencil to put to paper?
I'm trying very hard to get (at the right price) either a Agatha or Verne MP, even BP would do
BTW your Hemingway is just beautiful.

Yes. I actually just purchased a nice Agatha pencil last month. As for getting them at the right price I wish you good luck. It took me several years to find my Agatha FP at the right price and I had to buy it without the Box, but the pencil did come with one so I consider them a pair even though they don't carry the same s/n's. The box will fit both at the same time and even three if I can get the BP.

Now is the time to get them. eBay is a good source from time to time, but still as scarce as hens teeth.

Now the hunt is on for the Agatha BP and then on to the Vermilion set. Whoa..... for the price of a Rolex at that!!!!

The Hemingway was a good buy and again eBay has them occasionally and for a reasonable price.

I will need to use fancy math here.

JJ has put in 4.0236607142857 weeks FTKTT (Fingers to Keyboard Typing Time) which equals to 675.975 hours

JJ joined May of 2005. That is 237 weeks ago. For the sake of simplicity we will take a 40 hour work week as an average and 56 hours sleep time per week for a total of 96 hours. There are 168 hours in a week. 168 - 96 = 72 free hours per week. 72 X 237 = 17064 JJ free hours since his joining. (I rounding things out here). As stated above JJ has put in 675.975 hours FTKTT. 17064 / 675.975 = 25.243 or appx 1/25th or 4% of his free time typing on TRF.

So in actuality, 1/25th of JJ's free time is not too bad, but THEN you have to calculate in things in JJ's life that would involve at least one of his hands.

Eating, driving, sheep tending, drinking, pottying, nose picking, butt scratching, hopefully bathing, and of course tossing (Google it). With these things in mind and factored into these calculations this would mean that JJ has actually put in 99.5 percent of his two handed free time posting on TRF.

Easy when you use fancy math. (Feel free to check my math here as it is late in Missouri).

With all of that said, perhaps we could get JJ some help. If we could get him to stop just one of the things in the above list that he ENJOYS most, then perhaps we could bring his averages down to a normal level.

It's late here in Missouri! Oh, I already said that.......(sigh)!
As my degree is in Computational and Applied Mathematics, I just had to revisit this!!!

Sheesh JJ! You are da bomb!!!
