Tudor 709 help

I am looking at trading my Eterna Kontiki first gen manual wind and $150 for this Tudor 709, is it a good trade? Is this Tudor original?

I believe that's a model 59 and the plate behind the dial is likely stamped tudor. the rose looks good, but I don't see swiss made at the bottom of the dial. I don't know the value of your Eterna, but it reminds me of a vintage Oyster case with a little bit of flair to the lugs. I wouldn't do the trade personally. that case is beat on the tudor as well, is the caseback marked tudor? very well could just be a vintage watch with the same movement as some vintage tudors that they slapped a tudor dial on. in any case, Can't imagine it being worth much more than $150

Both watches are really beat up so im not taking condition into the conversation.

The Tudor looks ok, it is the correct movement.

There may be a SWISS mark at the bottom of the dial. Sometimes the curvature of the crystal skews it in a picture and it isnt visible unless you look at it at a slight angle down. Or sometimes it is hidden under the rehaut.

Thanks for your input. I asked the seller for a pic of the inside case back and he replied that he might have a cash buyer for the watch. Looks like u where right that its a Tudor dial in a aftermarket case and movement.

Thanks for your input. Tudor is beat up, but what bothered me is that there should be a Tudor stamp on the plate which there isn’t and when I asked the seller for a pic of the inside case back all of a sudden he has a cash buyer.

Condition of the Eterna is very good. Dial has got patina yes but casing is very good condition with the edges still sharp, crystal is also still good plus the movement looks very good.
