Which do you pick?
Okay this is a totally unrealistic question and a complete fantasy but let’s play anyway ......
Your AD phones you and says you can pick any Rolex from the range now, or wait until September 1st and pick any of the new line ups instead, what do you do? (Me - well I’m picking a new one up tomorrow which is the one I want so I’ll say now - I’ll post an incoming at the time) |

I'd say, take the one you can get now. No saying you'd be able to get one of the new models from the AD.
New ones might also have some kinks to work out. I'm hopeful they fixed the faults in the 32XX movements. It would suck to get a new submariner and find that your watches loses 8 seconds per day sometime in the next year.

I'd wait, there's no rush for now.

Which do you pick?
I would say door #3... I'll pick the watch I want after the new release on 9/1 from all the watches available!

I would take a new Pepsi or Hulk now at retail. I am not an early adopter so any significant upgrade or change would not appeal to me until its been in use for a while.

I'd take a Pepsi now, don't think Sep will have anything I really want, including a SS Blue Subc.

If the AD had the watch I wanted right now? I wouldn't wait to see what's coming, I'd buy the watch now, before Sept. 1st.

I'll say I'd wait for the first. Rolex has a track record of making good things incrementally better/more beautiful. Plus I like a surprise now and then!

I want Pepsi Meteorite and YG Daytona with green dial.
I will pick one or both of them now if it's available. |
