Good news and redemption!
I found a new 2020 DSSD JC locally, and picked it up today. Yes, it is very nice and pretty to look at, at different angles when the light hits it, the upper blue of the dial really lights up and looks beautiful. I wore it all day at work today and found it to be extremely comfortable (more then expected). It just disappears on my wrist and it will fit under my shirt sleeve (barely) and suit sleeve (easily). The glide lock system is amazing and I was able to adjust it once or twice and the fit was perfect. To be honest it is a tad more comfortable then my Exp II polar 42mm because of the more precise adjustment of the glide lock. Can't say that I noticed a weight difference at all (I am 6ft 220lb former football player that still works out) and it looks great on my little over 7 1/2 wrist. I was really on the fence in buying this watch, nothing better then expecting to have to accept some short comings or compromises and then find out that something exceeds all expectations. Can't wait to test the 12,800 feet rating Thanks to everybody that provided positive feedback that helped me make this decision!!!!! |
