Cards on the table, Kermit never sung to me. Pass on it last time. Bought into the hulk bandwagon last year and “get” the hype now.
Will pass on this one iteration of Kermit. |

I've been on the owner of my AD since before the release, when the leaks started for the Cermit. Made a gentlemen's agreement that if I nailed the leak call correctly I'd get get one of the first. Ball is in his court, not holding my breadth but hopeful I'll get it on the wrist by end of year. Got a decent relationship with him and just got the call for a blnr, hopeful I can keep momentum. I'm never buying grey unless is a discountinued or vintage model. My 116600 was my only purchase there and I plan to keep it that way.

I went into my AD yesterday sort of just for fun. They said they have received zero of any of the new models so far. |

Called two AD’s in my area today. One said they have a “meeting” (conference call) with Rolex on Friday and they don’t know when they will actually get the new models. The other said they expect the new models in two or three weeks per conversation with Rolex.

My AD SA told me three weeks ago that they were supposed to get new watches in on September 1st. Then again he confirmed last Friday that they’re getting three submariners on 1st, and if it’s a blue SS sub, those will be reserved for VIPs. They just dont know how many of them they’ll receive but he sounded pretty sure they’ll get the first batch on the 1st.
I’m wondering, maybe many ADs have indeed received them already, and are just not telling anyone yet? Who knows! I’m too afraid to ask again as I don’t want to come out as too pushy lol |

I called the person I deal with, he said he is taking names down and he will put me down. He did end up calling me once before for something so lets see. Ether way, i'm in no rush as I need to save for it. Oh, I put myself down for the cermit.

They told me, “don’t call us we’ll call you!”
I’m very low in the pecking order. I’d be lucky to see a “New Kermit” my given name to the watch, by next summer, if at all. I’ll get to lust over the new stuff in a couple of weeks. |

Anyone ask their AD about the new LV?

Same! Wonder how many Hulks are being shipped. Frankly, I’ll take a Hulk or Kermit they’re both beautiful.

LOL
Where I am at, list for Submariners is so long they don't even add names to the list. If you are a high roller (which means very high roller since its mecca of money laundering) they might put you on list. |

Trust me, these things aren't rare. This isn't a Patek 5740/1G where an AD might get one a year, if they're lucky.
Just be patient. Maintain a healthy relationship with your AD, and stay in touch with them. If you don't believe me, look at how easy it is for greys to hoard Hulks: https://www.instagram.com/p/CEmaYCunmMP/ |
