Thanks James, good to know that lug-to-lug only increased by 0.5mm

End link: 21.00mm
Case flank thickness: 5.00mm
Overall thickness 12.55mm

The Mercedes hand is definitely larger but I'm unable to quantify exactly by how much.

All measurements given are subject to some margin of error, but I hope this helps the TRF community.

I am curious as to case width of the Bluesy? Is it 40 or closer to 41? Because IIRC it isn't 40 exactly. It would be perfect if you do the measurements on the two watches you have because it removes ambiguity. Same caliper. Same measurement points, etc.

Sure, I will do some more measurements tomorrow. I'm thinking about getting a pair of digital verniers tomorrow to I can be as accurate as possible, my current verniers are a very high quality but analogue pair of Mitutoyos that are also imperial

I'll get some digital calipers and remeasure!

Thanks for posting and congrats.

To my eye, the Cermit looks larger and wider when compared side by side to Bluesy. Does it look that way in the flesh? Do they sit differently on the wrist?

It also looks to me the lugs look slimmer as a result of the widened end link and not necessarily a slimming of the lugs.

The dial and case stand out nicely with the Bluesy/supercase. The new case with wider bracelet looks like a more cohesive whole and is well-proportioned, but also is more generic and loses the focus on the heart of the watch.

Up to the beholder to decide which is “better”.
Man, I was thinking the same thing but couldn’t form a sentence for it.

I can’t tell if I am trying to sell myself, or if I really believe it, I like the older version with the black bezels because it is more of a tool watch feel. I like PM and TT with the new version with the more refined look. Probably a little of both!

The new Sub41 is actually 0.05 mm thicker than the older model.
